A simple 3D scanning test with a small stone, made to check how accurately a physical object can become a digital model. The LiDAR scan was rebuilt at real scale and used as a 1:1 object for a quick AR comparison.

The physical stone and its digital copy sit next to each other on the table. The test is small, but it keeps an important question in the archive: how close a scanned object can feel when it returns back into the same space as an augmented reality model.
