A surveillance camera frame from the office records the 3D printer during a print. It belongs to a period when we were testing new tools and faster ways to move from a digital model to a physical object.

This is a frame from a surveillance camera connected to the 3D printer in our office. The printer was bought shortly before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, during a period when we were testing new methods of work and new interactions inside the studio.

The black-and-white camera view made it possible to check the printing process remotely and follow how a 3D model slowly became a physical object. For me, it was a useful addition to the workflow with clients: a quick way to test scale, form, and an idea outside the screen.

A MacBook Pro with the Rabbit Coffee Roasters SketchUp model is placed directly on site during installation. The fragment connects the digital project file with the unfinished construction space around it.
