This is a site photo from the installation stage of Rabbit Coffee Roasters, a coffee shop interior in Nikolsky shopping mall in Kharkiv, Ukraine. The SketchUp model is open on my MacBook Pro while the real space is still covered with dust, cables, plastic sheets, and temporary construction materials.
The laptop is placed on a plastic tool case, almost like a small working table inside the construction site. The fragment is simple, but it explains a very direct part of the design process: checking the digital model while the interior is being assembled around it.
