Brief

:

A quick smartphone sketch from the moment when the main idea for Heyday finally appeared. The sunflower became one of the visual elements that later entered the interior in Chicago.

Швидкий скетч зі смартфона з моменту, коли головна ідея для Heyday нарешті з’явилась. Сонях став одним із візуальних елементів, які пізніше увійшли в інтер’єр у Чикаго.

Note

:

This sketch belongs to the concept development for Heyday, a realized interior project in Chicago, USA. The idea did not come immediately, and the early stage was full of tests, pauses, and attempts to understand what the project needed.

When the direction finally appeared, I opened a photo from the screen on my phone and drew over it with my finger. The sunflower became a visual element for the interior, while the small tables started to work like stems — slightly different, flexible, and moving toward the sun.

An abstract image saved for its composition. It feels like a fragment of a room, an object, or a model, but never becomes fully clear.
