Brief

:

A workshop recording from the making of a chair inspired by the Scottish blackhouse. I was learning to use a router and cutting grooves for the rope system that later held the seat.

Фрагмент з майстерні під час створення стільця, натхненного шотландським blackhouse. Я вчився працювати з фрезером і вирізав канавки для каната, який потім тримав сидіння.

Note

:

This fragment belongs to the process of making a chair inspired by the Scottish blackhouse. The work was focused on a simple wooden structure and a seat held by rope, with the tension created through stones.

Here I am testing a new woodworking tool and learning how to control it on the plywood surface. The router cuts narrow grooves where the rope was later placed, turning a construction detail into part of the object’s visible logic.

An abstract image saved for its composition. It feels like a fragment of a room, an object, or a model, but never becomes fully clear.
